When a troubled mage stood before the mirror, Dark Taranza appeared...

Dark Taranza is an enemy that is encountered after the main game of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. He is a dark-hued alternate-dimensional version of Taranza, and fights in much the same way, though he is considerably more powerful. He was summoned by Taranza through the Black Mirror.

Overview

Dark Taranza is fought as part of Tougher: The Final Battle in the Decisive Battlefield, and is unlocked after Parallel Landia is defeated.

Compared to other enemies in the Decisive Battlefield region, Dark Taranza is not particularly strong, but he is capable of some annoying energy-based attacks, and can web Team Kirby up, just like his normal counterpart. Unlike most enemies, however, he is only fought in one phase.

Once Dark Taranza is defeated, he brings back the Black Mirror, and uses it to call upon his master, King D-Mind. Once the king of darkness is summoned, however, he immediately dispatches Dark Taranza using his hammer, shattering him into countless shards, and presumably destroying him for his incompetence.

Trivia

  • Dark Taranza's purple and yellow accents are a nod to the color scheme of Queen Sectonia.
  • Dark Taranza's head is the shadow that looms over Team Kirby in the Team Kirby Clash Deluxe logo.
