Collection Laps! Circling Circuit (Car Mouth Treasure for short) is a stage in Treasure Road, found in Redgar Forbidden Lands. This stage tasks Kirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use of Car Mouth, completing two laps on a circuit in order to collect all the star pieces. The stage is initially hidden, and needs to be found by "searching" the World Map. It is located on a stretch of highway in a canyon to the right from the select area for The Beast Pack's Final Stand. It is marked by three stars of difficulty and has a stage time of one minute and 30 seconds (one minute in Wild Mode), with a target time of 40 seconds.
Stage details
This stage consists of a looping circuit with a good deal of verticality and several tight turns and jumps. Using Car Mouth, Kirby needs to traverse this circuit and collect the five star pieces along the way. After finishing one lap, the course changes slightly, adding more enemies and making some parts of the circuit move back and forth, and adding one more set of star pieces to collect. Kirby must do one more lap and collect these pieces in order to make the Rare Stone appear near where Kirby started.
Tips
The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:
- This stage is fairly straightforward in its requirements. The only real way to save time is to take the shortcut jump at the first bend on both laps. Otherwise, Kirby just needs to drive well and not miss any pieces or jumps along the way.
