Chips are common enemies in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad. They are bouncy, round creatures with yellow fur, two large, round, black eyes, a happy mouth and a white-tipped tail resembling that of a red fox.

A Chip moves by jumping around, periodically hesitating on the ground for a short while. It attacks by trying to bound into Kirby, harming him on collision. Chips do not have much health, are vulnerable to all attacks and do not give a Copy Ability when swallowed.

Chip returns in its first 3-D appearance in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It attacks by tackling Kirby, and will often jump between the foreground and background to do so. Chip also makes an appearance in Kirby: Planet Robobot along with its larger cousin, Big Chip.
