Checker Knights

Checker Knights is one of the many race courses in Kirby Air Ride. Its general appearance is that of the medieval era, housing castles and other structures, as well as a checkerboard-like texture. It is often considered to be the most difficult track in the game, because of its difficult bends, dangerous objects, and constantly altering terrains.
The course begins on a checkered road, suspended above what appears to be a vast expanse of water. The region is surrounded by mountainous barriers and somewhat strange structures, including a castle, all textured with the similar checkerboard pattern. The second half of this stage is submerged below the water, being a dark, smoggy cityscape, with varied neon lights and thin pathways. This stage has the greatest variety of enemies of any course in the game.
