Challenge 23 is the twenty-third stage of Challenge Mode in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It is unlocked by completing 18 One-Minute Challenges.

OverviewEdit

Challenge 23 is a Survival Challenge, divided into twelve rooms with 15 seconds per room. The rooms are as follows:

Room Description

Room 1
This room is entirely underwater. Kirby will need to defeat five Blippers swimming around to make the treasure chest appear to the right.

Room 2
This room's chest is locked in a ceiling cache behind two shutters that can be opened by pressing switches on the ceiling around the chest. Kirby will need to avoid or deal with the Crabbos and their bombs as he presses these switches.

Room 3
A Gray Zone fills this room's left half, where the treasure chest can be found sitting on a Star Block directly over Kirby's head. To the right, a water geyser can be found directly next to the Gray Zone, which can either help or hinder Kirby in his attempt to shoot up to the chest.

Room 4
The chest can be found above a Bomb Block barrier in this half-flooded room. Kirby starts beneath the barrier, and will need to dive down to hit the Bomb Block to open his way to the chest.

Room 5
This room is half-flooded, with a waterfall spilling down most of the upper half. Two lines of Point Stars stretch along the middle of the room; one in the water, and the other in the waterfall. Kirby will need to collect all the stars to make the chest appear. There are two Ink Bottles in the room to help him do this.

Room 6
This room is half-flooded, with a barrier wall in the middle. The chest can be found up above this wall, with two Dethskullks guarding it. Kirby starts at the bottom, and will have to slip past the Dethskullks to get the treasure. He should be careful not to get hit by the Dethskullks either before or after getting the chest, since in either case, his run is over.

Room 7
This room's chest is guarded by a waterfall that will push Kirby down through the thin floors if he tries to cross it without blocking it off with a rainbow rope first.

Room 8
The chest in this room is tucked away behind metal blocks in the upper-left corner, while most of the rest of the room is filled with sand. A pot can be found to the right, which can be broken to yield a large Point Star. Using this, Kirby can Star Dash to get the chest.

Room 9
This underwater room has a clockwise current pulling Kirby around a barrier wall in the middle. Along the way are six light panels, which need to be lit in order to make the chest appear along the upper part of the channel.

Room 10
This underwater room contains three Sawgills, which all need to be defeated to make the chest appear.

Room 11
This underwater room contains many point stars near the floor. All of these need to be collected to make the chest appear.

Room 12
This room is the familiar U-shape. Kirby starts in the lower-right corner, and will have to slip past the Dethskullk on the left to grab the Candy. With this, Kirby can power through the remaining Dethskullks to get the chest in the upper-left.
