This article is about the Battle Stage. For the level in Kirby's Dream Land, see Castle Lololo.

Castle Lololo is a Battle Stage which appears in all three Kirby Fighters games. It is a triple-decked stage that features the boss duo Lololo & Lalala, and takes its visual cues from Float Islands from Spring Breeze in Template:KSSU.

Layout

The layout of the Castle Lololo stage consists of three levels of narrow hallways contained within a boxy room. Two Thin Floors on the edges of the second floor and one in the middle of the third floor allow access between the decks. At both edges of every floor are doorways which are used by Lololo & Lalala to enter the stage. They always do so together at the same time, but individually come out of random doorways going either left or right until they reach the opposite door to where they started. While moving, they will push either emerald boxes or Gordos forward. The damage they deal to fighters can be summarized as follows:

  • Lololo & Lalala deal 16 damage on contact.
  • Contact with an emerald box deals 18 damage and destroys the box (the box can be destroyed with any attack).
  • Contact with a Gordo deals 32 damage.

Lololo & Lalala can be attacked, but they cannot be defeated, instead only being slowed down slightly on hit.

The aesthetic of the stage matches the graphical style of the original boss area in Spring Breeze in Template:KSSU, though that fight takes place in Float Islands in that game rather than Castle Lololo specifically.

In Kirby Fighters 2, it is possible to toggle on or off the hazards for this stage in regular battles. When hazards are off, Lololo & Lalala will not appear.

Unlock requirements

In Kirby Fighters 2, Castle Lololo is unlocked upon attaining Fighters Rank level 14. The secret song for the stage is unlocked at a Fighters Rank of 96.

Main article: Lololo & Lalala

The Castle Lololo stage takes its layout and aesthetic from the Lololo & Lalala boss fight and area from Float Islands in Template:KSSU's Spring Breeze game. This in turn originated from the boss fight from Castle Lololo in Kirby's Dream Land, though the stage takes its visual cues from the former rather than the latter.

Trivia

  • The stage select image in Kirby Fighters 2 extends past the normal boundaries of the camera, showing the ends of the stage and the Template:Gray void off-screen. Because the image is cropped in-game, this is not seen on the stage select screen itself, only when extracting the game's textures.
