Overview
The stage begins inside the castle, in a lower chamber. Here, Kirby will encounter the first set of large cannons shooting huge bullets up into the air. Kirby will soon find out that he can ride these bullets in order to get where he needs to go. Many of the following chambers thus test Kirby's knowledge by giving him more cannon bullets to jump across, though there will be several places where he will need to do regular dodging of these bullets. Along the way, several enemies will need to be defeated, and several Rotating Cannons will need to be used. At the top of the castle, Kirby can find the throne room occupied by a Big Waddle Dee. Defeating this snoozing usurper will reveal the way forward behind a portrait, but will also reveal a statue of Yin-Yarn in the place where the throne originally was. The Bonus Bell can be found just above to clear this stage.

*Just like in Tempest Towers, the description of the Gourmet Race CD incorrectly states that the song was originally from Kirby's Dream Land. The theme in fact comes from Kirby Super Star.
*In the American English version of the games, the in-game description for this song's CD incorrectly states it as being from Kirby's Dream Land, when it is originally from Kirby Super Star, a mistake that persists with all arrangements from previous Kirby games. The British English versions correctly state it's from the Kirby series instead. This may be due to the Japanese name for Kirby's Dream Land, Hoshi no Kirby, also being the name of the series as a whole.

This article is about the stage in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. For the castle in a more general context, see Castle Dedede. For the final stage of Kirby's Dream Land and Spring Breeze, see Mt. Dedede. For the final stage of Revenge of the King, see The Revenge. For the stage in Kirby Star Allies, see Clash at Castle Dedede.

Castle Dedede is the fourth stage of Dream Land in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by clearing Cloud Palace and obtaining the Boxing Glove Patch. This stage takes place inside the castle halls and chambers, mainly involving dodging and riding the bullets of large cannons. Completing this stage grants the Bells of Joy Patch, used to unlock the battle with Yin-Yarn.

This stage is the inspiration for Stage 4 of Dedede Gogogo in Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.

Patch animation[edit]

Upon throwing the patch, the castle gains huge arms with boxing gloves on them, which it uses to punch the ground twice, causing stars to fly upward. After striking a pose, the arms on the castle disintegrate, then weave into stars to turn into a red drape under the castle. At this point, the door opens.

Overview[edit]

Trivia[edit]

 • In the American English version of the games, the in-game description for this song's CD incorrectly states it as being from Kirby's Dream Land, when it is originally from Kirby Super Star, a mistake that persists with all arrangements from previous Kirby games. The British English versions correctly state it's from the Kirby series instead. This may be due to the Japanese name for Kirby's Dream Land, Hoshi no Kirby, also being the name of the series as a whole.
