This article is about the small enemy which appears in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad, and should not be confused with Box Boxer.

KatAMBoxin.png Boxin is a relatively uncommon enemy in the Kirby series. As indicated by its name (a contracted form of the word boxing), boxing gloves on its paws, and its fighting style; Boxin will box Kirby on sight. Unlike the Bronto Burts, Blippers, and Waddle Dees, Boxins generally are not found in groups as often only a single one can be found in any given room or area in a stage. The physical traits of this enemy resemble that of a small dog or mole, though somewhat anthropomorphized to be given a bipedal stance. When inhaled, Boxin will empower Kirby with the Fighter copy ability.

Boxin can be said to be similar in some respects to the Mid-Boss Box Boxer, as both rely on Fighter-like techniques, though the latter uses its ears to box with instead of arms.

Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]

Boxin returns in this title, having been given formal artwork in the instruction booklet for the first time. It was also given a few more fighting moves to attack Kirby with, making it more similar to Knuckle Joe in its versatility, though it is still just as easy to defeat as before. It appears fairly commonly in stages, though it is seldom seen in groups, preferring to fight on its own.

Locations[edit]

Boxin can be found in the following levels and stages in Kirby: Squeak Squad:
