Bouncy is a enemy making her debut in Kirby's Dream Land 2, where she is referred to as Bouncy Ty (a pun on "Bouncy Toy", possibly, or a misspelling). She is a pink, springy, toy-like creature that wears a pale red ribbon, has two beady eyes and a red seat above her spring. Hence her name, Bouncy continually bounces, although sometimes she may leap forward attempting to harm Kirby with her spring. Bouncy gives no Copy Ability when inhaled.
{{quote|Everyone knows the only reason Bouncys like to bounce so high is 'cause they like the view from up in the air. Things just seem more...peaceful up there. Every day is a good day to Bouncys. ===Kirby's Block Ball===
Bouncy appears as a common enemy in Kirby's Block Ball, and is worth 600 points when defeated. She also drops an Ability Changer, making this the only game in the series where Bouncy can provide a Copy Ability (albeit indirectly).

In later stages, drawings of Bouncys appear on certain walls, alongside drawings of Waddle Dees and Bronto Burts. These can become sentient to attack Kirby. After coming to life, Bouncy drawings function exactly like regular ones.

Bouncys appears in the Kirby Mass Attack Sub-Game, Kirby Brawlball, acting as a source of points in the upper portion of the main board. There are three of them lined up, worth 10 points the first time they are hit, with the value incrementing by 10 each subsequent hit.
After a long hiatus, Bouncy returned in Kirby's Return to Dream Land; her behavior hasn't changed. A new, uncommon enemy named Bouncy Sis is a bigger version of Bouncy that appears alongside their smaller counterparts, resembling the mid-boss from Kirby 64.

Kirby's Dream Buffet
Bouncy returns as a common enemy in Kirby's Dream Buffet, here redesigned to resemble gummy candy. She serves as an obstacle on race courses, and also appears carrying strawberries in the Minigame mode.

In the Kirby novel series
In the Kirby novel series, Bouncy sometimes appears as a character, usually making minor appearances.

Bouncy makes a minor appearance in Kirby: Uproar at the Kirby Café?! when King Dedede suggests using Bouncy to make the chairs and tables of the Dedede Café bounce. Bouncy is surprised by the suggestion and tries to turn it down, but Dedede doesn't listen.

Bouncy is one of the eight competitors of the gourmet fest in Kirby: Full Stomach, Perfect Circle, Dream Buffet!. She is the one that wishes them all to compete under the same conditions, prompting them all to turn into balls, having the same size, shape and speed. The food that Bandana Waddle Dee, Pauline and the others make for her to want to quit the gourmet fest is fruit jelly.

Bouncy also makes a minor appearance in Kirby: Sever Evil with a Slash in a Flash! as one of the many habitants of Dream Village; she owns a kanzashi (hair ornaments) shop.

Bouncy appears in Kirby: The Dream Onsen is a Good Hot Spring♪, as one of the many Dream Land residents that go to Sunset Village to help revitalize it. She leads the creation of the inn, at first alone, and later with the help of Lovely as well.

Trivia
*Bouncy's top half, and Bouncy Sis' by extension, resembles Kirby greatly, except for the bow.
*In Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Kirby's Block Ball, Bouncys have two small strands of hair on the side of their heads. This detail is absent in all later appearances.
*In Kirby's Block Ball, Bouncys can get knocked out of their spring, suggesting it is some sort of vehicle, not actually a part of their body.
*According to their Figurine description from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, along with their Dedede Directory post, Bouncys jump because they enjoy the view.

Everyone knows the only reason Bouncys like to bounce so high is 'cause they like the view from up in the air. Things just seem more...peaceful up there. Every day is a good day to Bouncys. No one's gonna keep 'em down!
— Bouncy's figurine description in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Bouncy, originally known as Bouncy Ty (either a pun on "Bouncy Toy", "Bouncy Tie", or simply a misspelling), is an enemy debuting in Kirby's Dream Land 2. She is a pink, springy, toy-like creature that wears a pale red ribbon, has two beady eyes and a red seat above her spring. Fitting to her name, Bouncy continually bounces, although sometimes she may leap forward attempting to stomp Kirby. Bouncy gives no Copy Ability when inhaled.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land / Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]

A Bouncy from Halcandra

Bouncy returns in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe; her behavior hasn't changed. A new, uncommon enemy named Bouncy Sis is a bigger version of Bouncy that appears alongside her smaller counterparts, resembling the mid-boss from Kirby 64.

Additionally, there is a variant of the Bouncy that lives on Halcandra. She behaves the same, but has a black and white color motif. Their face is similar to Void Termina's.

In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Bouncy can be found in the following levels and stages:

Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]

Bouncy returns as a common enemy in Kirby's Dream Buffet, here redesigned to resemble gummy candy. She serves as an obstacle on race courses, and also appears carrying strawberries in the Minigame mode.

In the Kirby novel series[edit]

Trivia[edit]

 • Bouncy's top half, and Bouncy Sis' by extension, resembles Kirby greatly, except for the bow.
 • In Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Kirby's Block Ball, Bouncys have two small strands of hair on the side of their heads. This detail is absent in all later appearances.
 • In Kirby's Block Ball, Bouncys can get knocked out of their spring, suggesting it is some sort of vehicle, not actually a part of their body.
 • According to their Figurine description from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, along with their Dedede Directory post,[1] Bouncys jump because they enjoy the view.
