Boomer is an enemy that appears exclusively in Kirby's Dream Land, found only in the Bubbly Clouds stage. It appears only in the Extra Game - replacing Sir Kibble - and behaves in much the same way. Its name comes from a clipped form of "boomerang", which is its preferred weapon. Boomer is worth 1000 points when defeated.
Appearance and behavior[edit]
Boomer is a vaguely humanoid figure who resembles Poppy Bros. Jr. greatly, though it wears a lighter set of clothes and does not bear a permanent grin on its face, instead only having a pair of eyes similar to Kirby's. Its hands and feet are the same color as its face, implying that it may be barefoot.
Boomer stays in one place or patrols an area, tossing boomerangs at Kirby. It tosses them more frequently than Sir Kibble, and tosses two at a time.
In Kirby: Right Back at Ya![edit]
Boomer makes a tiny cameo appearance as a monster in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! episode Cowardly Creature. It is shown briefly training as part of the "Young Monsters of the Future" program run by monster clowns, balancing on a rolling barrel.
