What?! This isn't good! That road leads to the Booma-Dooma Volcano! There's no telling when that thing's gonna blow!
— Chief Bookem, from Hail to the Chief

Booma-Dooma Volcano is an active volcano in Dream Land situated a few miles away from Cappy Town in the anime series Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. It resembles a series of tall red cinder cones with gaping calderas filled with lakes of molten lava. As such, gouts of steam and ash are continuously pouring out of the volcano's five main openings. The volcano itself appears in only a handful of episodes, with its first appearance being in Episode 10: Hail to the Chief.

Appearances

This article or section is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it's being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.
No reason has been specified.

Booma-Dooma Volcano first appears in the episode Hail to the Chief, when Tuff winds up getting stuck inside the main caldera near the end of the episode. Chief Bookem and the kids set out to save him, with the chief in particular rappelling down the inside of the caldera with a rope to retrieve him. Despite his efforts, Chief Bookem is unable to save Tuff on his own, and Kirby steps in to retrieve them on his Warp Star.

Trivia

  • In the Japanese version, the volcano is called Gilauea, which is a reference to Kīlauea volcano in Hawaii.
