This bat strikes when you get close. He's a silent hunter.

Battins is a purple bat-like enemy from Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. He can be found resting on ceilings in caves and will stir if Kirby or Prince Fluff approaches or walks past him. Once awake, Battins will swoop down, then dive forward with his fangs out, which can hurt his target. If captured with the Yarn Whip, Battins will split into three homing projectiles when thrown, much like Buttonbee.
