Balloon is a Copy Ability that debuted in Kirby: Canvas Curse. It allows Kirby to inflate and float like a balloon, and attack enemies by popping after expanding a lot.

Kirby: Canvas Curse
Balloon debuts in Kirby: Canvas Curse, obtained by defeating the enemy Bloon. With it, Kirby can float for a short time when touched with the DS stylus, growing in the process as well. He will soon drop down again, at which point he can be tapped again, growing bigger and moving up again. If repeated enough times, he will eventually explode, although he can be blown up again in the same cycle.
In the Rainbow Run mode, the Balloon ability is one of four abilities with its own pair of courses, the others being Stone, Missile, and Wheel.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Balloon Kirby makes a small cameo appearance in this game as one of the collectible Keychains that can be found throughout it.
