Backdrop is one of the Copy Abilities Kirby can have. It is usually received by swallowing Bugzzy. It is similar to the Throw and Fighter abilities. With it, Kirby can either throw the enemy or drive them into the ground. He is very strong with the ability, being able to stop bullets and lift defeated mid-bosses. Additionally, Kirby appears with the ability on the game cartridge of Nightmare in Dream Land.
Trivia
- The look that Kirby has when he possesses the Backdrop ability is similar to the one he has with the Fighter ability.
- Kirby's throws in the Super Smash Bros. series appear to be based on the Backdrop ability.
