100% completion is a term referring to the act of completing every objective in a game or activity, whether they be required for normal (any%) completion, or optional side-objectives. This designation may be formal or informal, and in the former case, may not actually require performing every task the game offers (an example being playing the Sub-Games in certain Kirby titles). Aiming for 100% completion is often regarded as more difficult than completing with a lower percentage, though the process can also result in collecting bonus items such as Vitality hearts which make the game easier.

Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Pinball Land, and Kirby's Avalanche are the only proper Kirby games to not track the player's completion in some way, as they lack save files.

Doing so will unlock a ? option in the OPTION menu, which lets the player watch all cutscenes in the game, either separately or one after another.

As with the Game Boy version, the Super Famicom version of Kirby's Star Stacker is marked as "complete" when Kirby gains a crown on the starting screen. The requirements to make this happen are as follows:
*Defeat Gryll in the Story Mode.
*Complete Round Clear on "Insane" difficulty.
*Stack 2000 or more stars in the Challenge mode on any difficulty.
*Stack 200 stars or more in a Time Attack round on any difficulty.
*Win 30 VS rounds in total. (unlock/begin "Insane" difficulty)

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
In Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, defeating Miracle Matter, regardless of which ending is obtained, will unlock the Sound Check.

To make the save file display 100% completion, every Crystal Shard must be collected, and the game completed. This unlocks the Boss Battles mode and the option to view all the scenes from the game one after another on the Theater.

While every difficulty of 100-Yard Hop, Bumper Crop Bump and Checkerboard Chase can be unlocked and beaten, all of the Enemy Info Cards can be collected, and the Boss Battles mode can be beaten, none of these feats have any influence on the 100% meter.

There is a cheat code that will create a 100% completed game in File 3, as well as grant the player all of the Enemy Info Cards. To activate it, File 2 must be blank, while File 3 must be created with no progress. Then, while the HAL Laboratory logo is displayed during the game startup sequence, the player should insert the P2 controller, hold L, and press the buttons C-up, C-up, R, C-right, C-left, and Start in that order. The 1-UP jingle will play to indicate that the code was input correctly, and File 3 will be marked 100% complete. Because no C-button inputs are mapped anywhere on the Wii Virtual Console or in Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, this cheat code cannot be performed in those versions.

Playing the Goal Games and Sub-Games is not required. *Complete all Rainbow Run courses, meeting all medal requirements.

To reach 100% completion in Kirby: Squeak Squad, all 120 treasures must be obtained in the Main Game. Every other requirement comes as a prerequisite of collecting all of the treasures, including beating the game, since the last treasure — the Strawberry Shortcake — is only obtained after defeating the final boss. While not required, the Extra Mode and Boss Endurance subgame are unlocked after achieving 100% completion, and completing them could be considered an informal 200%.

Unlike most mainline Kirby games, Kirby: Squeak Squad does not show the player's completion as a percentage, instead showing exactly how many treasures the player has collected on their save file.

From there, The Arena and The True Arena must also be completed. Helper to Hero only needs to be completed once.

Reaching 100% will reward the player with the Kirby Master video in the theater, and beating The True Arena regardless of clear percent will reward the player with the Special Edition Blooper Reel video. Completing Helper to Hero with all Helpers is not necessary for 100% completion, but doing so will reward the player with a special acknowledgement and unlock the cutscenes from the original Kirby Super Star in the theater.

Like its predecessor, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, the title screen goes through subtle changes depending on the player's progress through the game. The Battleship Halberd will appear after clearing Story Mode, Meta Knight will appear after clearing Meta Knightmare Returns and reaching 100% changes the Halberd's look to that of the Robobot Armor's Halberd Mode.

Kirby's Epic Yarn
Completion of all Celebration Pictures is not required (not even of the eight in the base game, let alone the full set of 18 as of Version 4.0.0) for the game to consider a save file 100% complete, and while the game acknowledges the accomplishment, it does not offer any reward beyond the Celebration Pictures themselves.
construction

Kirby Mass Attack
Clearing Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! and The Ultimate Choice with every character is also not required for 100% completion, but the game will acknowledge both of these accomplishments, and Guest Star will change its title screen music.
To earn 100% completion, Gold Medals must be earned on every stage, and every Sub-Game must be completed.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land
After reaching 100% completion in Kirby Star Allies, the menu theme has a random chance of playing the "Green Greens" theme from Kirby Air Ride.
To reach 100% completion, all 120 Energy Spheres must be collected in both the Main Game and Extra Game, all levels must be unlocked in the Sub-Games, all Challenge Stages must be completed in both modes, both Main Game and Extra Game completed, The Arena completed, and The True Arena completed.

The Secret Stage does not need to be completed, though this unlocks track 189 in the Jukebox. Magolor does not need to have his magical skills fully maxed out.
*Clear both The Arena and The True Arena.
*Complete the first 100 Missions in Merry Magoland. The True Extra Missions do not need to be completed, though clearing them unlocks track 199 in the Jukebox.

Kirby: Planet Robobot
Fully clearing all of the Main Mode elements (Story Mode, Extra Mode, The Arena, The True Arena, and the Magolor Epilogue) rewards the player with the Gold Kirby Mask.

Most titles in the Kirby series have some sort of indicator of the player's progress toward 100% completion, which may be a percentage in of itself, and may also bestow an honorary title or emblem onto the player's save file depending on this percentage. Titles that track percentage also typically give the player a reward of some sort should the 100% mark be reached. Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Pinball Land, and Kirby's Avalanche are the only proper Kirby games to not track the player's completion in some way, as they lack save files.

Kirby's Adventure[edit]

A 100% completed save file in Kirby's Adventure (3D Classics version).

To reach 100% completion in Kirby's Adventure, the player must complete the main game and press all of the Big Switches. Doing so will unlock the Extra Game. Completing the Extra Game does not affect the save file percentage, but the player's rank title will change and the Sound Test will be unlocked.

The following is a list of each rank title the player is given, and at what percentage:

 • 1%–9% → Water Drop
 • 10%–19% → Son of Wind
 • 20%–29% → Li'l Traveller
 • 30%–39% → Swift Hunter
 • 40%–49% → Star Herald
 • 50%–59% → Dream Hunter
 • 60%–69% → Dream Warrior
 • 70%–79% → Star General
 • 80%–89% → Great Ace
 • 90%–99% → Final Star
 • 100% → Hero of Lore
 • 100% + Extra Game cleared → Super Star

Kirby's Dream Course[edit]

There is no in-game tracker of completion in Kirby's Dream Course, but a variety of menu options are made available as the player progresses through the game. An informal 100% could involve collecting gold medals on all single player courses in both the Main Game and Extra Game.

Kirby's Dream Land 2[edit]

A 100% completed save file in Kirby's Dream Land 2.

To reach 99% in this game, every Rainbow Drop must be collected, and every Bonus Chance must be completed before finishing the main game.

The last percent is awarded when Kirby rescues Girl blob/Chao in one of the Animal Friend bags (1 in 8 chance of appearing instead of Gooey).

Upon reaching 100%, the player is awarded with some extra game options on their file. The Sound Test and Boss Endurance modes are unlocked. In addition, all of the Bonus Chances can be played in sequence.

The following are the percentage gains toward 100% Completion for each task in Kirby's Dream Land 2:

Kirby's Dream Land 2 percentage gains
Task Percentage
Complete stages 62% (2% per stage)
Defeat Bosses 14% (2% per boss)
Collect Rainbow Drops 14% (2% per Rainbow Drop)
Defeat Dark Matter 3%
Achieve perfect in Bonus Chances 6% (1% per Bonus Chance)
Rescue Girl blob (E) / Chao (J) 1%

Kirby Super Star[edit]

A 100% completed save file in Kirby Super Star.

To reach 100% completion in Kirby Super Star, all the main games must be completed, with both secret areas unlocked in Dyna Blade (Kirby does not need to visit them — just unlocking them is enough), all 60 Treasures collected in The Great Cave Offensive, and all 19 Copy Essence Deluxe pedestals collected in Milky Way Wishes. From there, The Arena must also be completed.

Kirby's Star Stacker (Game Boy)[edit]

Alternate title screen.

There is no formal percentage gauge for Kirby's Star Stacker for Game Boy, but if all difficulties of Round Clear are completed and Insane difficulty is unlocked in the Challenge and Time Attack modes, Kirby will be given a crown and Star Rod on the title screen.

Kirby's Dream Land 3[edit]

A 100% completed save file in Kirby's Dream Land 3.

To reach 100% completion in Kirby's Dream Land 3, the player must defeat Zero after collecting every Heart Star, as well as completing the MG-5, Boss Butch, and Jumping subgames.

Doing so will unlock a ? option in the OPTION menu, which lets the player watch all cutscenes in the game, either separately or one after another.

Kirby's Dream Land 3 percentage gains
Task Percentage
Complete stages 30% (1% per stage)
Collect Heart Stars 30% (1% per Heart Star)
Defeat Bosses 15% (3% per boss)
Purge Dark Matter out of a level 20% (4% per level)
Defeat Zero 2%
Complete MG-5 1%
Complete Boss Butch 1%
Earn a score of 10 in Jumping 1%

Kirby's Star Stacker (Super Famicom)[edit]

Alternate title screen.

As with the Game Boy version, the Super Famicom version of Kirby's Star Stacker is marked as "complete" when Kirby gains a crown on the starting screen. The requirements to make this happen are as follows:

 • Defeat Gryll in the Story Mode.
 • Complete Round Clear on "Insane" difficulty.
 • Stack 2000 or more stars in the Challenge mode on any difficulty.
 • Stack 200 stars or more in a Time Attack round on any difficulty.
 • Win 30 VS rounds in total. (unlock/begin "Insane" difficulty)

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards[edit]

A 100% completed save file in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble[edit]

The screen shown after obtaining 100% completion in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble.

To reach 100% completion, the game must be completed after collecting all 32 Red Stars in both the normal mode and the Extra Stage. Doing this will change the background color of the title screen to pink.

Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land[edit]

The 100% completion screen for the Normal Game in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
The 100% completion screen for the Extra Game in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.

To reach 100% completion, the game must be completed with every Big Switch pressed. Reaching 100% completion in both the Normal and Extra Game will unlock Meta Knightmare. Meta Knightmare does not have to be completed, but can be considered an informal goal after clearing the game.

Kirby Air Ride[edit]

To reach 100% completion, the Checklist for all three modes must be completely filled in. Use of purple checkbox fillers is allowed, but not using them can be considered an informal 100%.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror[edit]

The 100% completion image from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.

To reach 100% completion, every room in every area must be explored, every Big Switch must be pressed, and every Treasure Chest must be opened, in addition to defeating the final boss and watching the credits in full. Playing the Goal Games and Sub-Games is not required. Reaching 100% completion unlocks the Boss Endurance mode, and if the player defeats Dark Mind with everything else completed, they are rewarded with a prompt from the game featuring an illustration of all four Kirbys in celebration.

Kirby: Canvas Curse[edit]

Merger of the screens presented upon 100% Completion of Kirby: Canvas Curse.

To reach 100% in Kirby: Canvas Curse, all 250 Medals must be collected. To accomplish this, the following tasks must be performed:

Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]

The screen that appears after obtaining 100% completion.

Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]

The screen that appears under the Kirby Master video.

To reach 100% completion in Kirby Super Star Ultra, all the main games must be completed, with both secret areas unlocked in Dyna Blade, all 60 Treasures collected in The Great Cave Offensive, and all 19 Copy Essence Deluxe pedestals collected in Milky Way Wishes.

Kirby's Epic Yarn / Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[edit]

Main article: Patch Plaza

To earn 100%, each stage must be completed with a Medal of any rank, with all Treasures found. In addition, Kirby must fully upgrade Quilty Court, complete all of the neighbors' games, and obtain all the extra Furniture, Music, and Fabric. Decorating Kirby's Pad is not required.

In Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, additional requirements to the ones listed above include collecting all 55 extra pieces of furniture by saving all 250 Life Pieces in Devilish Mode and completing all 36 Fuse Bead Mats by playing Dedede Gogogo & Slash & Bead.

Kirby Mass Attack[edit]

The "100% Cleared!" screen

To earn 100% completion, all 186 Medals must be collected, and the Checklist must be filled in. Doing so will reward a congratulatory screen labelled "100% Cleared!" in the Game Album.

After completing the game 100%, a star can be seen next to the save file, to mark the player's achievement.

While not required for the game's acknowledgement of the 100% completion, other self-imposed conditions can include completing all of the Sub-Games.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land[edit]

A 100% save file.
A crowned save file.

To reach full completion (100% in both Main and Extra), all 120 Energy Spheres must be collected in both the Main Mode and Extra Mode, all Challenge Stages must be completed in both modes, and Magolor must be defeated in both modes.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land percentage gains in Main and Extra Modes
Task Percentage
Collect Energy Spheres 42% (0.35% per piece)
Clear levels 42% (6% per level)
Defeat Magolor 9%
Clear Challenge Stages (with any rank) 7% (1% per stage)
Extra Mode is unlocked after clearing Main Mode and reaching at least 70% completion.

If 100% is achieved for both Main and Extra Mode and both The Arena and The True Arena are cleared, the save file's Kirby icon will be crowned and the Kirby Master video will be unlocked in the Theater.

Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition[edit]

Kirby gets the King Trophy in the New Challenge Stages Sub-Game.

Earning the King Trophy counts as the indicator of 100% completion in the New Challenge Stages Sub-Game. The King Trophy is awarded when the player has earned enough total points for the Platinum Trophy, and has cleared every stage with a Platinum Medal. Beating the Magolor Races with every ability could be considered an informal goal, as it is acknowledged by a crown being added to the medal on each race's door, but it is not required to get the King Trophy.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]

The 100% completion screen in Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

To reach 100% completion, the following tasks must be completed:

The title screen goes through subtle changes depending on the player's progress through the game. After completing Story Mode, the flowers on the Dreamstalk bloom; after completing Dededetour!, King Dedede appears flying in the background; after reaching 100% completion, Kirby appears in Hypernova form. Reaching 100% completion also rewards the player with a short Kirby Master video and changes the mode selection music from "Select a File!" to the "Special Reward Music" from Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Kirby Fighters Deluxe[edit]

"You finished Very Hard mode using every Copy Ability! You are a Kirby Fighters master!"

To reach 100% completion, all of the Rare Outfits must be unlocked. Additionally, the game needs to be cleared on Very Hard at least once, with any ability, to unlock Shadow Kirby as a color change. Doing both of these will affect the title screen: the Copy Abilities will change to their rare variations, and Shadow Kirby will appear alongside the others.

Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe[edit]

Pictured is Dedede holding up the two Platinum Trophies earned from earning a Platinum medal on each stage in Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe.

To complete this game 100%, all 7 stages (and all 7 EX versions) must be cleared with a Platinum rank. Like with Kirby: Triple Deluxe, the title screen varies depending on the player's progress through the game, with different skits of King Dedede, Kirby, and Taranza hand puppets being shown. After reaching 100% completion, King Dedede will show off the two Platinum Trophies on the title screen, signifying the player's achievement.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[edit]

A 100% save file in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

To complete this title 100%, the player must complete the Story Mode, clear every stage with a Gold Medal, collect every Treasure, collect all the pieces of the Secret Diary, and complete Challenge Mode with gold medals. All the Figurines will be unlocked in the process of doing the former steps.

After clearing the game 100%, a crown will appear on the Kirby icon for the respective save file.

Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]

The 100% completion screen in Kirby: Planet Robobot.

To reach 100% completion, the following tasks must be completed:

Like its predecessor, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, the title screen goes through subtle changes depending on the player's progress through the game. The Battleship Halberd will appear after clearing Story Mode, Meta Knight will appear after clearing Meta Knightmare Returns and reaching 100% changes the Halberd's look to that of the Robobot Armor's Halberd Mode.

Reaching 100% completion rewards the player with the "Exclusive Performance Video" in the Theater, which is a full performance of The Noble Haltmann. Additionally, the UFO will also appear in the Copy Ability Room, allowing Kirby to use the UFO ability without the need of scanning a Kirby amiibo. Finally, the mode selection music will also change from "Select a File!" to "Homeland Restored," an arrangement of "Venturing into the Mechanized World."

To reach 100% completion, all Heroic Missions must be completed. Completing every quest with a platinum medal contributes to the Heroic Missions, but also has a separate congratulatory message.

Buying 3000 Gem Apples and unlocking and upgrading the Rarity Level H gear may also be considered requirements, but only if the player wishes to spend the money and purchase a copy of Kirby: Planet Robobot.

To obtain 100% completion in this title, the following tasks must be performed:

Doing the above rewards the player with a completion fanfare image.

Notice of all Celebration Pictures being complete in Version 4.0.0 of the game.

Clearing Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! and The Ultimate Choice with every character is also not required for 100% completion, but the game will acknowledge both of these accomplishments, and Guest Star will change its title screen music.

After reaching 100% completion in Kirby Star Allies, the menu theme has a random chance of playing the "Green Greens" theme from Kirby Air Ride.

A crowned save file in Kirby Star Allies.

Completing the new content added in the 4.0.0 update — Heroes in Another Dimension and The Ultimate Choice's Soul Melter EX difficulty — does not contribute to 100%. However, they offer separate rewards for their completion, and a separate acknowledgement was added to mark full completion of the new content: the save file icon will receive a crown icon. To crown a save file, the following must be performed:

 • Achieve 100% completion.
 • Clear Heroes in Another Dimension with all 120 Friend Hearts collected.
 • Clear The Ultimate Choice on Soul Melter EX difficulty at least once.

Super Kirby Clash[edit]

"Completed all missions!" prompt in Super Kirby Clash.

To reach 100% completion, all 900 Heroic Missions must be completed. Completing every quest with a platinum medal contributes to the Heroic Missions, but also has a separate congratulatory message. Growing the Gem Apple tree to its maximum size is not required.

Kirby Fighters 2[edit]

 • Clear Single-Handed Mode on all four difficulties at least once.
 • Clear the fourth or final chapters in Story Mode with every Copy Ability and Buddy.
 • Clear Single-Handed Mode on Hard or Very Hard mode with every Copy Ability and Buddy.
 • Obtain a Fighters Rank of 100.

Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]

There is no formal tracker for 100% completion in Kirby's Dream Buffet. However, there are two long-term goals to meet in order to fully complete the game: collecting all 256 Character Treats, and collecting 100,000 Gourmet Points to reach the maximum Gourmet Rank, 135. The Bonus Songs unlocked from save data for other Kirby games are not required.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]

A 100% completed save file in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe.

In order to reach 100% completion in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the following tasks must be completed:

Fully clearing all of the Main Mode elements (Story Mode, Extra Mode, The Arena, The True Arena, and the Magolor Epilogue) rewards the player with the Gold Kirby Mask. This is not a reward for 100% completion overall, as the game awards it regardless of whether the player has also completed the first 100 missions in Merry Magoland.

When 100% completion is achieved, the save file's Kirby icon will be crowned and the Kirby Master video is unlocked in the Theater.
