Color Template[edit]

Hey. I'm not sure why you removed the Color template from those quotes; is there an issue with it? It's working fine for me and it definitely does exist.--Vellidragon 11:12, 22 June 2012 (CDT)

It shows red links on my browser. Maybe it's an issue on the mac? LightningBlue: Back in Blue 14:25, 22 June 2012 (CDT)
Anyways try not reverting an edit unless you see the changes completely. "Super Star Ultra" is kinda ambiguous and a proper quote does not say "quote" as we already know it is a quote from the quotation marks. LightningBlue: Back in Blue 14:27, 22 June 2012 (CDT)
Not sure what might be causing that and have no way to figure it out with such limited information. Also, the quote source is incorrect either way as it doesn't make clear that it's the ability description, so I didn't bother leaving it intact as it will eventually need to be changed again anyway. I would be happy if you didn't jump to conclusions on my ability to read an edit from your own opinion about how parts of an article should look. Also, not sure if you're deliberately trying to act like site staff, but you're sounding that way to me - would be nice if you could tone that down so people don't get confused.--Vellidragon 17:47, 22 June 2012 (CDT)
Oh...I didn't notice. I must be used to that tone from Wikia. Sorry. LightningBlue: Back in Blue 20:28, 22 June 2012 (CDT)

RealMe Template[edit]

Hey, could you please stop removing the RealMe templates from articles? They were put in place by consensus and are part of the Quality Standards. I was thinking the message at the top while logged out ("see a new feature in which your name will appear in major articles!") made that pretty clear. This is a reminder, though I'm wondering if I should start being more harsh about this as it's part of the standards so there's really no excuse for removing it.--Vellidragon 16:58, 7 July 2012 (CDT)

Ok, fine I'll read the standards. I just think "the player" is better in some situations. LightningBlue: Back in Blue 17:09, 7 July 2012 (CDT)
I'm sorry, I didn't know IP's would display "the player", so it seemed strange. And my excuse is that I was not aware of a standard that is alien to me; no other wiki I've been on has them. LightningBlue: Back in Blue 17:22, 7 July 2012 (CDT)
It's one of a few "novelty" things regarding personalisation that has been implemented (more may or may not follow eventually, depending on whether server access (which I don't have) is needed and how willing people are to actually implement them), though it was originally created to resolve an argument about gender pronouns (there are a few related templates that display the pronoun for the gender set in the preferences). Things like these are why it's usually good to read the individual wiki's standards and policies first because they're generally not identical everywhere :0 --Vellidragon
