I was kind of wondering whether Wikirby is actually an offical member of NIWA yet. I checked the NIWA site, plus SuperMarioWiki, ZeldaWiki, and Bulbapedia and none of them say Wikirby joined NIWA. The same goes for the Metroid Wiki. Please reply on my talk.- YoshiFan2215

over my head

MediaWiki:Common.css refuses to work for me. Any chance you could beat it into submission? I'm wanting to try getting the main page to match the current game's cloth/fabric theme just to be relevant. There's also the stitched borders I was toying with, ideally I want to add them and keep the darker colored border including a small margin (padding kind of margin) and probably calculate the rounded corners and subtracting the number of pixels to have the stitched border a smaller radius than the solid border. Yeah, common.css has always seemed to me to be flaky at best; I've pretty much given up on it at ZW. You'll find that a known working snippet from a particular skin can be taken and moved over into common.css, and all of a sudden it's not even called let alone applied! Yet some stuff seemingly works perfectly, like the MW and BP link images at ZW (http://www.zeldawiki.org/MediaWiki:Common.css). My advice is to stick with the css files in the skins directory, they're far more reliable. Seems like you've already got the background thing working using shared.css.

On the borders thing, you lost me completely! Probably need to draw me a picture of the desired result, or else we'll catch up on Skype and talk about it there :) Adam 06:28, 7 October 2010 (CDT)

Multiple Accounts

Accounts can only be assigned one per person. If there are more than two people and one computer, the computer can be shared, with each editor having a separate account. The reason why a user can only have one account is to limit any confusion, and the number of sock puppets. There isn't really any reason why a single person should have one account since both accounts have the same abilities on the wiki. The only exception I can think of which is not related to ban evasion is that the password/username of a previous account was lost, and the user made another account. For future references, if this is ever the case, tell an admin, and they can scramble your password. —Austin ^{(NIWA Operative)} 19:38, 4 September 2010 (CDT)

Skin selection

I assume you are the main maintainer of the wiki? If so, even though I love the skin that is the default, I have to question something: Why in the world are there no other skins available to be used? I mean, you could make the current skin the default, yet still allow the others! And if you have it this way because of the Wiki's logo's dimensions, then I think it still isn't a problem, because I think any image can be the logo, no matter the dimensions.
