Purpose

This template adds a return link to the base page on subpages where it normally doesn't appear. This is typically for pages in the main namespace. The MediaWiki software doesn't recognize subpages in this namespace. This is because there are some things that legitimately have a forward slash in their names.

Usage

To use this template, simply type:     {{BasePageLink}}

Replace Base Page with the target base page. This is normally not needed as the template will automatically determine the base page, provided the subpage is properly named. But if for whatever reason it doesn't link to the correct page, the correct page can be specified with the Base Page parameter.
