Article or Redirect?[edit]

I don't personally see any reason why an important concept like this that is found in most Kirby games should be no more than a redirect to a category. Copy Abilities get their own article desptie being organised in a category, so I would say this has a reason to exist (as more than a redirect to a relevant category) as well.--Vellidragon 23:08, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Personaly, I think all the info on the Copy Abilities page should be redirect to Category:Copy Abilities. Mid Boss is an important concept, but it being a category doesn't make it any less of an article. We should still build up the category page as if it were a normal page. -- կրակ (խոսել) -- 23:54, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
As an admin I think all those should have its own articles. A category is nothing but a lsit of articles, while an article explains the subject in detail. --Tucayo 02:10, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
I always pipelink it as an article, because if no one else creates it, then I will. I'm guessing Ember Incubus was redirecting it so that it links to something that exists now. I have a really really huge to do list for this site, and it grows daily. Thanks to anyone that does create the article.

I guess I'll create it, if only so that it does not remain a category redirect. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 15:01, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

List[edit]

Since this is a stub, I might make a list of all the mid-bosses and their image or sprite. Is that ok? Someone? --Genokirby4 20:06, 19 February 2011 (CST)

That would be great, can you source your images in the summary field to it, so everyone knows where you originally obtained the image from? Axiomist (talk) 20:18, 19 February 2011 (CST)
Also keep in mind that a lot of the Mid-Bosses already have images on here (primarily sprites); if the Mid-Boss itself has no article, check its respective game's page for images and use those so you don't end up uploading duplicates :3 --Vellidragon 20:38, 19 February 2011 (CST)
Okay then, I'll try to do that but might not finish it soon. if I can't work on it at times can one of you help me? --Genokirby4 16:35, 20 February 2011 (CST)
Oh, I need to know how to sort them. By game? --Genokirby4 16:36, 20 February 2011 (CST)
Sorting by game would make sense. I'll fix any mark up errors I see, but I'm working on a lot of things too, so I might not be able to help you find all of the information.Axiomist (talk) 19:56, 20 February 2011 (CST)
I got started on it now. --Genokirby4 16:32, 21 February 2011 (CST)
One other thing, do I need to put mid-bosses from Kirby 64 on here? Cause I don't think there are any. --Genokirby4 16:26, 22 February 2011 (CST)
There are bigger & stronger versions of regular enemies at some point in Kirby 64 which act as Mid-Bosses; not sure if those should be covered here, though, as they aren't really seperate characters, but just enlarged versions of enemy drones. Waddle Doo, Adeleine and King Dedede act as more traditional Mid-Bosses on Pop Star, though; maybe those should be covered? I'm not sure. Also, please stop copying other people's work from the other articles and just pasting it here claiming it as your own; I said to look in the game articles for pictures, not copy the entire tables. Taking the credit for other people's contributions isn't exactly nice, especially with the amount of work that went into these.--Vellidragon 16:57, 22 February 2011 (CST)
Oh, shoot. Sorry about that...D: plus I didn't actually say "This is my work". Tables are really confusing to make, so thats why I did that. What do you suppose I do? Delete all the text and put in different info about the same thing? I was kinda planning on making my own tables for Nightmare in Dreamland and Squeak Squad, though, along with Kirby 64 and Super Star Ultra. But I am really sorry about the copy/paste... --Genokirby4 19:37, 22 February 2011 (CST)
I really can't do this anymore. I've had personal issues to deal with and i've been very busy lately. Genokirby4

Requesting image replacement[edit]

Just wondering if I could find a better image for Bonkers at the top of the page because the top of his hammer is cut out.--Marx4Smash (talk) 12:32, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Possibly. Do you have a candidate image? --Samwell (talk) 12:33, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
There's currently no full render of Bonkers in 3D, but if I do find one, I'll take care of it right away.--Marx4Smash (talk) 13:25, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
Aye. Just keep in mind that we don't use fan art on the wiki. Had an issue a little while back with people uploading fan renders thinking they were official, so make sure whatever you find has an official source. --Samwell (talk) 13:30, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
Well, it's been a full hour since I started hunting, and after a bunch of searching, I unfortunately couldn't find a full render of Bonkers, let alone one with an official source. The only image I can think of is the splash art from Star Allies. (Also noticed that Bonkers' page also uses the same 'cropped' image, so I don't want to use the Star Allies picture as it would clash with the image on his own page. Could that one still work, though? "\_'-')_/" --Marx4Smash (talk) 14:12, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
The KSA render depicts Bonkers as an ally, rather than as a Mid-Boss, so it wouldn't be entirely appropriate for this page. --Samwell (talk) 14:44, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
I'll keep an eye out for a good render we can use. In the mean time, I agree that the current picture is good enough.--Marx4Smash (talk) 15:50, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
