Mam or Mom?[edit]

There's currently some inconsistency about this Mid-Boss's name on the wiki; it is called Iron Mam in some places and Iron Mom in others. I don't believe an official romanisation of its name (「アイアンマム」aianmamu) exists, and the マム part can equally be taken to mean "mom" and "mam", but we should decide on one version. (On an unrelated note, I also point to Talk:Megaton Punch here for a different unresolved issue regarding this opponent.)--Vellidragon 09:41, 15 August 2011 (CDT)

In the original Kirby Super Star, she is called Iron Mom, and in the remake, she is Iron Ma'am. Since Iron Ma'am is the most current, I say we should call her that. --Triple D is awesome 12:13, 15 August 2011 (CDT)
Actually, I just watched a video of the battle against her in Dyna Blade of Kirby Super Star Ultra and she is very clearly called Iron Mam. Thanks for informing me she had an official English name in that game, though; that should definitely be used. As far as I'm aware, the "Iron Mom" name originally came up as a rendering of her Japanese name, as I don't believe she had an English name in Kirby Super Star times; do correct me if I'm wrong, I'm actually quite curious about this now. No idea where "Iron Ma'am" came from (except for the Wikia), though, as the Japanese name cannot be rendered as that and it certainly isn't in Kirby Super Star (Ultra).--Vellidragon 12:22, 15 August 2011 (CDT)
Oops...my bad. I completed Ultra a while back and when I play it once and a while, I don't look at the names. It is, in fact, "Iron Mam". --Triple D is awesome 13:31, 15 August 2011 (CDT)
