However, Kirby needs to hit its support beams, which are only target-able for a short time to damage the tower. Each time a beam is taken out, the tower gets angrier and faster, while the Waddle Dees become more frightened. When the tower is down to its last beam, it will, in addition to the missiles, also occasionally spit out a spiky beam, which it will try to smack Kirby with.
