Pendulum
The Pendulum is a transformation Kirby and Prince Fluff normally use in Kirby's Epic Yarn. For the Pendulum form to undergo, Kirby and Prince Fluff must use their whips to latch onto a certain button. When latched, Kirby/Prince Fluff transforms, and begins swinging to and fro on said button. Swinging enables them to leap higher than normal, by swinging into their default direction, releasing the Yarn Whip, and jumping afterwards.[1]
The Pendulum transformation is also useful in accessing areas of the course that are otherwise unreachable by jumping. Not all buttons are stationary, however: certain flowers in Flower Fields will lift the dangling heroes, and some trees can be latched and shaken to drop beads.[2]
