The Nintendo Switch is a ninth-generation home console system released worldwide on March 3rd, 2017. It is the successor to the Wii U and currently the newest home console from Nintendo.

The main drawing point of the Switch is its versatility, advertised as a console that can be moved easily between the TV screen, and a handheld mode. The controller, known as the Joy-con, comes in pairs and can also be played in various different ways, including being split for 2 player use, or attached to the console itself in handheld mode.

Kirby Games on the Switch

One Kirby game has been announced for the Switch, set to release in 2018. It is tentatively known as Kirby for Nintendo Switch, but will likely gain a more formal name once the release date approaches.
