===Room 1===
This room links to [[Rainbow Route - Room 36]] on the left and Room 2 on the right.
This room is linear and two-way. The room is designed like the grassfields of Rainbow Route. Flamers await to make ambushes in the middle of the map. The door in the middle of room leads to a mid-boss battle against [[Bombar]]. There is a gradual transition of the look of the rock-laden platforms and walls from the right edge of this room and Room 2-3, implying the looming danger of a volcano ahead.

Mustard Mountain is the fourth cardinal area of the Mirror World. This area is difficult to reach, so it's likely not the fourth area visited by Kirby. Many of the Mirror Portals leading to Mustard Mountain are in obscure locales, since parts of the entire area are not connected and has to be reached using mirrors in other areas, mainly Rainbow Route. The mountain area may be named for mustard as a reference to the overwhelmingly yellow color scheme of the area; the base and underground areas are visibly different. Mustard Mountain is mostly a yellowish orange colored rock surface, and characterized by pools of lava, pillars of fire, and cascading lava-falls. All of the fire hazards damage any Kirby that comes in contact with it, cause a Copy Ability to transform into a wayward star, and can destroy Stars upon contact. Some of the open pits drop Kirby into an area of Rainbow Route, which increases the difficulty of traversing Mustard Mountain.

The boss of Mustard Mountain is Kracko, who guards one of the eight mirror shards. It is unknown if this Kracko is the same as the one in Dream Land, or a different Kracko.

Template:AMMM2NavMap Mustard Mountain is a very isolated area in the Mirror World, and its layout consists almost solely of one-way paths, which will start to feel like the layout of a more traditional Kirby adventure. Traveling through Mustard Mountain is difficult, and Kirby will find himself repeatedly accessing the various entrance tunnels from Rainbow Route to re-enter this area. Overall, there are 19 normal rooms, one hub, one Chest room (containing the map) and two Goal rooms.

The only way into Mustard Mountain is by means of Rainbow Route to the south. However, there is a Warp Star that will take Kirby and his chromatic companions to Candy Constellation from this area.

Mustard Mountain has two Goal rooms. Completing these rooms takes Kirby and his clones to the Goal Game, then returns them to the Grand Central Hub of Rainbow Route.

For a full synopsis of what's in each room, click on any room on the map to head to the corresponding page.

Full Synopsis

Hub

This room links to Rainbow Route - Hub 4, Room 4 to the left, and Room 3 to the right.

The background consists on mountains and volcanoes emitting steam. There are two Copy Essence statues: One that gives Fire and one that gives Crash.

Abilities

Room 2

This room links to a Room 3 up and Room 1 down.

This is a linear, two-way room that goes up or down. There will be many sudden appearances of enemies including Soarars and a Roly-Poly. A cell phone battery should be sitting in the lower blocks of the room. It is not advised to destroy the lower star blocks as these will cause the Waddle Dees to become obstacles when they fall down.

Room 3

This room links to the Hub on the left and Room 2 on the right

This room is essentially a two-way maze. Two Gordos on the top right of the room guard two items: a 1UP and cell phone battery. Past this section, there should be a shortcut that leads to the door that links to Room 2.

Enemies, Mid-Bosses, and Abilities

Regular Enemies Mid-Bosses

  • None

Abilities

Room 4

This room links to the Hub down and Room 5 up.

This is the first room to blatantly display of the area's volcanic theme. There is a cell phone battery just above and left of the entrance room the Hub. It is guarded by lava flowing from time to time. Kirby must go up the ladders from left to right to reach Room 5.

Enemies, Mid-Bosses, and Abilities

  • None

Abilities

Room 5

This room links to Room 9 up and Room 6 down.

This room is very straightforward but only if Kirby decides to go straight into the nearest top door. On both sides of the map, there are two Minnys that will give the Mini ability. The Mini ability will allow access to the other side and beneath the map. Once the other side is reached, a bomb block below the top doors can be destroyed to open a small treasure chest. Beneath the small gaps that can only be accessed with the Mini ability lies a detour to Room 6.

Enemies, Mid-Bosses, and Abilities

Abilities

Room 6

This room links to Rainbow Route - Room 40.

This room is essentially linear without branching areas. A bunch of star blocks will be blocking the path from the top of this room. Parasol Waddle Dees and Parasol Waddle Doos will fall down from the middle of the room. One Shotzo will fire when Kirby is in sight. It is advised that the set of blocks leading to the door to Rainbow Route should not be destroyed to prevent the Shotzo from posing an obstacle to entering the bottom door.

Room 9

This Room links to Room 10 on the left.

Much like Room 4, Kirby must climb from left to right to reach the next room. From Room 9, there are two places that Kirby starts up in. The top left door in Room 9 leads to where the Roly-Poly and Flamer are encountered, while the top right door leads to the right of where the top left door was. There is a cell phone battery just before the door to Room 10. The 1UP in the left edge of the room can be obtained by going left past the Scarfy and the door.

Room 10

This room leads to Room 11 on the left

This room is very linear without any branching paths. Beware of the Wheelie at the start of the room. In order to cut off the platform blocking the treasure chest beneath, Kirby should have Cutter or Master while in this room. At the left edge of this room, a star block is hiding the door to Room 11. Destroy the star block to reveal the door.
