Monster Flame is a Super Ability that is currently exclusively only available in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It is an extremely powerful form of the Fire ability, and is obtained by swallowing a Super Hot Head. Monster Flame Kirby's appearance changes in that he obtains a large red crown of Fire, with a star on the front. Upon execution, Kirby has the ability to summon a fiery dragon that will pass horizontally at the approximate elevation of Kirby's hat. The fiery dragon can defeat enemies, as well as break through stumps and other vertical objects that Kirby must cross. Sometimes Kirby must time the Monster Flame so that it can hit a revealed weak spot. The dragon can be controlled somewhat by using the ↑ and ↓ buttons on the D-pad while it flies.
