A strange shadow in the sky... It seems to have been lured here by this world's energy.
— Tough Quest flavor text from Super Kirby Clash

Greater Doomer is a spectral bird-like entity from Another Dimension that is encountered twice in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and seven more times in Super Kirby Clash. As its name suggests, its size and power is intermediate between a Sphere Doomer and the Grand Doomer. Greater Doomer appears twice during the events of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe--once in the Ruins, and again in the Dunes. Unlike the other standard enemy encounters, it bears both its own theme music and a unique entrance. In Super Kirby Clash, it has many more appearances, and appears alongside Telepathos and Venom Kracko to form Team Floatrio.

Description

A lost bird's wings spread across the dimensions and blend into the night sky...
— Tougher Quest flavor text from Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash

Greater Doomer resembles an ordinary Sphere Doomer, but it is much larger, its coat is a solid color rather than shimmering, and it bears more tail feathers (which appears to be correlated to its power level, as it still has less than the Grand Doomer). Unlike its relatives, Greater Doomer's mouth does not contain a sphere, but instead a black void. It is notably the only Doomer shown to be capable of opening dimensional rifts under its own power — Grand Doomer also crosses dimensions, but only through a rift created by the Lor Starcutter's mast. In addition to standard flight, Greater Doomer is also capable of teleporting.

Attacks

A strange bird creeps in from another world, mindlessly seeking energy. Watch its movements closely and drive it back!
— Toughest Quest flavor text from Super Kirby Clash

Greater Doomer's attacks are borrowed from both its smaller and larger relatives. It can fire and drop orbs, rocket across the screen, teleport around, burst in dark energy, and swoop about the stage. Its airborne nature and teleporting makes it difficult for Team Kirby to attack consistently, but it is more vulnerable to the Beam Mage's Time Beam effect than grounded enemies are.

The following are all of Greater Doomer's attacks in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe and Super Kirby Clash. Note that most attack names are derived from the Sphere Doomers' appearances in Kirby's Return to Dream Land while others are conjectural:

Attack Description Variants
Glide Attack Greater Doomer charges up, then dives across the stage. It can swoop in from above, down low to the ground or attack from the background.
Energy Bullet After a brief charge-up, Greater Doomer spits purple orbs out of its mouth which travel in a straight line and can be batted away. These orbs can be fired in a multitude of different ways: it can spit orbs which travel in a straight line and can be batted away, it can spin around in the air and drop orbs which fall to the ground, lingering for a moment afterward, or it can fly into the background and spit large orbs into the arena which plop down onto the ground and linger.
Burning Attack Greater Doomer starts rolling as it engulfs itself in flame while locking on to a Kirby's current vertical position. After a long pause, it flies across the stage.
Dark Crush Greater Doomer starts emitting a dark aura and slowly drifts toward a specific target. It then releases a series of three magical bursts around itself.
Burning Attack & Second Attack Exclusively in its Tougher, Toughest and Super battles, after the initial Burning Attack, Greater Doomer will stop in the middle of its flight path after flying halfway across to reposition to another Kirby's vertical position before charging again.
Orb Saw Greater Doomer creates a ring of small orbs around itself and then rapidly spins them around. The number of times this move is used in succession can vary.
