“ | A Super Ability you can control as you like! Gather electricity into a ball, and move it around at will! Now, that's power! | ” | — Pause Menu description |
Flare Beam is a Super Ability that is currently exclusively available in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It is an extremely powerful variation of the Beam Copy Ability, and is obtained by swallowing a Super Waddle Doo. With the Flare Beam, Kirby possesses the ability to control a large beam ball of energy to destroy blocks and enemies, as well as activate special star blocks that help open up a path once all of those blocks are activated. Kirby's appearance changes to an exaggerated version of his Beam transformation; Kirby dons a very large jester hat with stars at the ends and a star emblem in the front of the hat.
