Dubior is a Mid-Boss that debuted in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It resembles a UFO-like floating robot, with yellow shining eyes. Its underside is orange, and surrounding that side are five stubs that shoot lasers. It yields the Spark ability when defeated and inhaled.

Dubior has an advantage over most other Mid-Bosses in that it can hover, and spends much of its time off the ground. It is also capable of summoning little minions (known as Dubior Jr.s[Japanese title] to defend itself, and delivers an arsenal of electric attacks.

Dubior made its debut appearance in this title. It does not appear until stage 5 of Nutty Noon, and is the last of the Mid-Bosses to be revealed. Dubior appears in New Challenge Stages, in the Smash Combat Chamber and in the Smash Combat Chamber EX. It looks and fights the same way as it did in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and is worth 1000 points when defeated.

Dubior appears in this game, serving the same function as before, though it now possesses the ability to summon Dubior Jr.s from the foreground and background. An upgraded version known as Dubior 2.0 also appears, bearing a great resemblance to Dubior EX from Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Dubior is the only returning Mid-Boss in Kirby: Planet Robobot to not be visibly affected by the Haltmann Works Company's mechanization, as it is already robotic.
