A Carry Dee is a shiny enemy that resembles a Waddle Dee that carries a Key or other item. It is seen in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, as a character that carries a Key, often to unlock an entrance to an Energy Sphere. Kirby often needs to be involved in a race against a Carry Dee, in order to intercept it before it falls to a hazard and the Key cannot be obtained. In some cases, Kirby must unblock certain obstacles using switches for the Carry Dee to pass through or avoid dying in hazards.
CarryDee returns in Kirby: Triple Deluxe, performing the exact same function as in its previous appearance. However, some CarryDees, notably the ones found in Dededetour!, are white instead of gold.
CarryDee also makes a few small appearances in Kirby: Planet Robobot, serving the same function as before.
