Barbar is an invincible enemy first encountered in the Onion Ocean level in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
Barbar resembles a giant eel-like creature and can come in various sizes, some of which are truly gigantic. They reside exclusively in the water, embedded in walls, ceilings, floors, or sometimes in pits in water currents, and at regular intervals will lunge outward in an attempt to swallow any passing swimmers.
If a character is caught inside of a Barbar's mouth, the unknown reader will need to shake the Wii Remote to escape. Regardless of how quickly the escape is made, however, being swallowed and spat out will usually result in losing whatever Copy Ability Kirby may have had.
