Zebons are creatures native to Pop Star and some other planets nearby, like Shiver Star. They resemble a large bubble of a translucent bright green color, and sport rudimentary happy faces. There are slightly larger than Kirby. While they appear in some levels, they are not really enemies since they do not harm Kirby when he touches them. When being touched, the Zebon absorbs the person nearby into it. The person will then be released shortly after, and launched into a certain direction. Sometimes a Zebon slightly rotates after having absorbed someone. In that case the player can control the Zebon's launch direction by pressing a button when it is facing the right way. While being launched by a Zebon, Kirby is invincible and can also defeat enemies if they happen to be in his way. This condition lasts until he hits an obstacle like a wall, or another Zebon.
