Zebon is referenced in the [[Kirby: Right Back at Ya!|anime]] in the episode [[The Big Taste Test]] as an ingredient specified in a cookbook given to [[Chef Kawasaki (anime character)|Chef Kawasaki]]. The aspiring chef is ordered by "[[Popon|Chef Shiitake]]" to prepare Zebon for him, but as part of a ploy from [[Night Mare Enterprises]], [[King Dedede (anime character)|King Dedede]] sabotages the cookbook to make Kawasaki think that [[Kirby (anime character)|Kirby]] is the Zebon he must prepare. Zebon itself makes no appearance in the show.
 
The description written in the book regarding Zebon is rendered in English in the Japanese version of the show. It reads as follows:

It is unclear if the choppy nature of the text is intentional or due to mistranslation. It is likely the latter though, since this blurb is removed from the 4Kids version.
