Kirby's Dream Land: Difference between revisions

Like most Kirby games, the goal is simple. You play as Kirby, running through each level using your puff up and inhaling abilities. You can make Kirby puff himself up to travel far distances in the air, however you can be puffed up for as long as you want, which can eliminate all obstacles in your way. (Unless you are forced to move down to pass certain walls of course). Kirby also needs to inhale enemies to progress Dream Land without getting hurt. The enemies can also be swallowed. However, not until Kirby's Adventure, was Kirby able to steal powers.

To progress through the game, simply, you just proceed from Point A to Point B, with a boss at the end. Usually there is a larger or more powerful enemy on the way to the end.

Along the way some strange items will appear on the road to assist you on clearing the path of enemies, or in a case it's necessary to fight a boss.

*'''Microphone'''- The Microphone is an item you inhale, then spit out to defeat all enemies on screen. This same concept is used for the [[Mike]] Copy Ability in future games in the series.

[[Kirby's Dream Land]] features other games modes that are more challenging, or can be made as challenging or easy as you want.

If you were to hold the buttons, B + Down + Select on the title screen, you enter a mode where you can change your Total HP (6-1) or amount of lives you carry. (9-1) Which means, when set the right way, 1 Hit = Instant Game Over.

In [[Kirby Super Star]] (and [[Kirby Super Star Ultra|''Ultra'']]), one of the [[Sub-Games]] that you can play is named Spring Breeze, which is a remake of Kirby's Dream land with some differences. Some include,

*Items that give you powers are gone.

*Kaboola is not found. (However, in [[Revenge of the King]] of ''Ultra'', a more challenging version of Spring Breeze, you do fight a form of Kaboola.)
